About this experience
Cartagena de Indias is Colombia’s most beautiful city, with a wonderfully preserved colonial Old Town (UNESCO World Heritage). Step into the heart of Cartagena and let the city’s soul unfold around you. We’ll see countless historic churches, colonial houses and monuments, and stroll through narrow, cobbled streets while learning its rich history. Cartagena was where the Spaniards stored treasures looted in South America, attracting many pirates. Monumental, kilometer-long fortifications—still impressively preserved—recall those times. We’ll also visit the San Felipe de Barajas fortress, calle de los estribos, Santo Domingo´s square, Simon Bolivar Park, Clock Tower, aduana´s squere, San Pedro Claver´s Square.

If the minimum isn't reached for your date, we'll contact you before the tour and you can choose to:

Cancellation Terms and Conditions
Pending approval- City Tour Walled City — operates with a minimum of 10 participants. If this minimum is not reached, Macondo may offer to reschedule, provide a comparable alternative, or issue a full refund for the affected activity. You may accept or decline the alternative offered.
- You may cancel the order at no cost within 24 hours after purchase confirmation.
- Cancellations requested 15 or more calendar days before the service date receive a 100% refund.
- Cancellations requested 10–14 calendar days before the service date receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations requested 9 calendar days or fewer before the service date are non-refundable.
- Email cancellation requests to siglertours@macondodmc.com with the purchaser's name, confirmation code, activity, service date, and reason for cancellation. Your request is received when Macondo confirms receipt in writing.
